FETISH ON APC ONDO SECRETARIAT

Monday, 29 August, the secretariat APC Ondo state chapter was sealed off using fetish items that scared everyone from entering or getting closer to the vicinity

Reacting to the incident, Steve Otaloro, the Director of Media and Publicity of the party, confirmed the incident yesterday, placed at the gate of the party.

Deji of Akure, Oba Ogunlade Aladetoyinbo, Odundun II, also reacted to the action, calling it sacrilege.

Describing the incident through his Chief Press Secretary, Adeyeye Michael, the Deji expressed outrage and distanced the Palace from what he called "the sacrilegious' act, calling on authorities to intervene on the act.

The act, from a source, was an attempt to stop the embattled chairman of the party, Isaac Kekemeke, from gaining entry into the party's secretariat.

Mr. Kekemeke, who had summoned some members of the party's State Executive Committee (SEC) loyal to his camp to a "peace talk" during the weekend,

The meeting was fixed for the party's secretariat, our correspondent was told.

Sources from the party revealed that those fetish placed on the entrance must have been some aggrieved members of the party. .
