14 OIL WORKERS ABDUCTED IN RIVER STATE
The unknown gunmen has abducted fourteen (14) workers with Nestoil on 3rd September in Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State
According to Sahara Reporters, the abducted workers were returning back from work at Omuku area to Port-Harcout, when the were attacked under heavy gunfire by the unknown gunmen, which diverted the bus to unknown destination.
Nnamdi Omoni, the Public Relations Officer of River State Police Command, who confirmed the incident stated that anti-kidnapping teams are combing the bushes in efforts to rescue the workers, according to Sahara Reporters.
He also said that police have located the company's Costa van and expressed optimism that the workers will be rescued.
