ALAGBOLE OF OGUN STATE UNDER UNBEARABLE FLOOD

Residents of the Alagbole Under Bridge area of Ogun State are currently helpless and downhearted with the spate of heavy rainfall which has caused an unbearable flood situation in the area, the residents are currently using local boats to routes in the flood. A pained social media user who shared the deplorable photos said:

"Initially, if I was told not to go to work today, I would not accept. Flood became avenue of making money, it was said in Yoruba 'owo lowo, eyin ni le' meaning 'money at hand, be at the back' for those they carry at back.

"Some decided to cross with canoe all because we want to get to work, forgetting what could be in the water or the disease that could be contacted through the flood."
