APC, UPP MEMBERS DEFECT TO PDP IN EDO STATE

Hundred of All Progressives Congress, APC members that were led by the former chairman of the Butchers Association of Nigeria (BAN), Mr Sunny Omokaro, and the former Women Leader of the United Progressives Party UPP in Edo state, Mrs Patience Ehigiator, have defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP of Edo state chapter.

Addressing the new members, the PDP state deputy chairman, Emma Ogbomo, advice them to play their role in ensuring victory for Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and resist some persons going about purchasing voters’ cards.

Speaking during his receiving of membership card from Ogbomo, Mr Omokaro pledged to increase support of butchers in the state for the PDP and its candidate,

I returned to PDP based on the fact that Ize-Iyamu has a practical blueprint that would elevate Edo.
