BUHARI TO TRAVELS NEW YORK NEXT WEEK

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari will be travelling to New York by next week, where he would address the 71st regular session of the United Nations, UN, General Assembly on September 21, 2016. this in Abuja on Friday.

He also stated that the President would use the opportunity to create excellent relationship with other world leaders and demand the recovery of illicit and looted funds.

He also revealed that the Nigerian government would make a case for the election of an Afro-centric UN Secretary-General, who would be pro-developing countries.
