NIGERIANS SHOULD BE PATIENCE AND PRAYER - APC
The All Progressives Congress (APC), has said, on Monday, that Nigeria will get the possible best Buhari's administration through patience and prayer
A statement released by APC National Secretary, Mai Mala Buni in Abuja, pointed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), of being accountable for the economic recession in the country, he assured Nigerians that the current administration will do better and would do all possible to correct the present hardship.
He also advise the president to avoid distraction from the PDP's criticism of the state of economy, saying that the present economic hardship is the result of mismanagement of fund and looting of nation's wealth from the past administration
Buni also described the acts of PDP’s attempt to twist the present hardship to blame Buhari's administration is uncalled for, insensitive and an insult to Nigerians. The PDP must account for its transgressions and apologise to Nigerians.
“Going forward, the urgent task before the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC administration is to restore the country’s battered economy back to health and all legitimate and innovative means are being employed to achieve this in the quickest possible time.
“Among other strategic economic agendas, diversification of the country’s economy is a priority for the administration.
“To this end, President Buhari is aggressively formulating and implementing policies aimed at diversifying Nigeria’s economy from oil to other sectors such as agriculture, mining and manufacturing,” he added.
