VANDALS CUT THE CABLES LAID ON ABUJA RAIL LINE

Some Vandals in Abuja are currently menacing the recent completion of the Abuja light rail line as they have begun to dig and cut out some already laid down cable on the rail line.

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Musa Bello, has confirmed the ugly development,

He said,

"Cables are being vandalized. Two weeks ago, vandals dug out cables and cut them off. The protection of the facilities is a responsibility of everyone. The government could not do it alone. We have deployed members of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) along the tracks and in the city".

The Abuja light rail project is expected to be completed by December 31st 2017
