FANI-KAYODE RE-ARRESTS BY EFCC

Former Aviation Minister and spokesman of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s 2015 Campaign Organization, Femi Fani-Kayode has been arrested today at about 1:55 pm 21 October 2016 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, outside the premises of a Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The former minister, who has been very critical of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration, earlier in the week, raised alarm over moves by the anti-corruption agency to silence him.

Fani-Kayode alongside former Minister of Finance, Nnadi Usman are facing a 17-count charge bordering on unlawful retention, use and payment of money to the tune of about N4.9 billion
