I can categorically say - 'Our persistent prayers do not change God rather it changes us. His will knows what is good for us in the long run.' The will of God will not lead us where His grace will not save us.
MUCH IS EXPECTED OF US
St Basil said that nobody is too poor that he has nothing to offer and nobody is too rich that he has everything. That is to tell us that no matter how little we may think we have, much is expected still. You are the only reason why God created the challenges you are facing now. W. Longfellow will say, each thing in its place is best. You have found yourself in the lowest ebb of life, much is expected of you. You have many things to offer, if you can acknowledge that much has been given to you. May the Lord open a brighter way for you so that you'll offer much to the world. May your little through the faith you have in Christ bloom higher.
THE MISSION OF CHRIST
Over two hundred thousand (200,000) came out to protest against anti Christians in France few days ago. They were insinuating a probability of war in Europe soon. Christ is the reason. Everywhere Christians are persecuted in the world, Christ is the reason. When you hear our Lord saying He has come to bring war, know that He meant that darkness will never be at peace whenever light appears. If the forces of darkness are too comfortable with you as a Christian, check and know whether you are their engine. As long as you bear the tag of Christ, you will always live in crisis with the enemy. I know the battle-field is hard. Your fellow Christians all over the world is facing the same war. Do not give up. Victory is surely yours. As you hold on to Christ may you never lose faith.
THE SIGNS OF THE TIME
The Lord is asking us serious question about reading the signs of the time. Do you read the signs of the present time? These signs of time are general and particular. Generally now, anger is growing high, hatred is growing high, insincerity is growing high, there is more increase in crimes everyday. Particularly to your own life what sign is rising or going down in your life? Is prayer going down? Is love for God going down? Is desire to have more things increasing? The universal and particular sign you will always see is that each day has it's own troubles and solutions. May God grant the Grace to grasp on the signs He will show you today.
YOU ARE GOD'S BANK ACCOUNT
You are alive today because God banked a lot in you. Sometimes we rarely understand why God has left us behind. It is because there are resources not yet spent. Many banks have closed in the past. We sometimes close some bank accounts either because they cannot stand the test of time or because we are on a better platform. God has banked a new life in you and some bank accounts were closed yesterday. Do not think that you are better than those accounts closed yesterday. He believes that you will do better today. Do something better with the chance you are given today. Some accounts will be closed today. I pray that the Lord will still leave your account open. May He give you the Grace to make good use of your life today for the glory of His name and the good of the person nearest to you. Through Christ our Lord. Amen
