GROUP REVEALS THEIR NEXT ACTION IF PRESIDENT DOESN’T RESIGN IN EIGHT WEEKS

Nigerian Youth Advocate for Justice, NYAJ, delivered an eight-week ultimatum to President Muhammadu Buhari to resign from his post.

Group leader Seriki Olorunwa warned that if Buhari fails to respond to his request, the group will lead "seven million young people to force him out of the office."

Olorunwa, in a statement, said the recurrent challenge of the president's health had prevented him from governing Nigeria.

The group noted that the All Progressives Congress, APC, of Buhari led-administration,  subjected the Nigerians to humiliation through its autonomous activities.

He also warned that at the resignation, Buhari had to resign or form an interim government after his absence from the country for more than 53 days.

Olorunwa said, “We urge the Senate, House of Representatives, state house of assemblies and parastatals to persuade Mr. President to resign and hand over to an interim president in the interest of Nigerians.

“We are speaking with one voice for the masses because we want the progress of the people.”

The youths complained that killing, kidnapping and robbery have become the order of the day in the present-day Nigeria as such, the President should bow out.
