LAGOS COURT ORDERS FORFEITURE OF $5.8M LINKED TO PATIENCE JONATHAN

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered the forfeiture of $5.8m belonging to the wife of former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan.

The Justice Mojisola Olatoregun-led court gave the order while ruling on a fresh ex-parte application, on Wednesday.

This is coming less than 24-hours after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, withdrew an application seeking to stop her from having access to the money.
