DOKPESI AND OTHERS LUNCH NEW POLITICAL PARTY

Founder of Daar Communications and member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Raymond Dokpesi, along with other notable politicians, launched on Monday a new political party called Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance, APDA.

The event, which takes place at the Hotel Reiz Continental in Abuja, was chaired by former Labor Party President LP Dan Anyanwu.

The party that has the slogan "Stronger Together", has a Shitu Kabiru as interim national president.

The National Executive Committee of the party has yet to be constituted.

As a result of the PDP leadership crisis, insinuations in some neighborhoods resulted in some party members wishing to float a new political party.
