YOU HAVE 3-MONTHS TO RETURN ALL OIL BLOCS - NIGER DELTA TELL NORTHERNERS

A coalition of Niger Delta militants demands the return of all oil blocks controlled by northerners to the people in the oil-producing region.

The request is in retaliation for the order issued by youth organizations from the North to Igbo in the North, to leave the region by October 1.

The Niger Delta Guardians, the Niger Delta Volunteers, the Niger Delta Peoples Fighters, the Niger Delta Warriors, the Bakassi Freedom Fighters, the Niger Delta Movement for Justice, Niger Niger Fighters Network and the Liberty Mandate of the Niger Delta said on Friday that they also intend to declare an independent Delta of Niger on October 1 in order to free their people from what they called the " Servitude of the North.

The communiqué was signed by John Duku, General, Ekpo Ekpo (Niger Delta Volunteers), General Osarolor Nedam (Niger Delta Warriors) and Major-Gen. Henry Okon Etete (Peoples Fighters of the Niger Delta).

"Major-Gen." Asukwo Henshaw (Bakassi Freedom Fighters), Major-Gen Ibinabo Horsfall (Niger Delta Movement for Justice), Major-Gen Duke Emmanson (Niger Delta Fighters Network ) And "Major -Gen. 'Inibeghe Adams (Liberty mandate of the Niger Delta).

They warned all companies operating such blocks of oil to withdraw within three months.

"A coalition of Niger Delta activists met today in Port Harcourt to discuss the recent appeal of Arewa youth groups that the Ndigbo should leave all northern states within three months.

"We see the Arewa statement as a statement that northerners, leaders, political elites, northern security chiefs and governors were fully aware.

"We are demanding 100 percent control of our resources. We are asking the federal government to hand over all the oil blocks belonging to the northerners to the natives of the Niger Delta. All companies operating in such blocks /oil wells should leave within three months.

"The federal government should immediately relocate NNPC and all the offices that have to do with the oil and gas sector in the Niger Delta states and immediately replace the general manager of the group by a native of the Niger Delta.

"All northern natives working in NNPC and any other board that has anything to do with oil / gas should be excluded with immediate effect.

"We are demanding an independent and sovereign Delta of the Republic of Niger, we are tired of living with the North under Nigeria, we are tired of the president's feelings against the people of the Niger Delta.

"The president may have time to receive the girls from Chibok but did not have time to meet with the representatives of the agitators of the Niger Delta. Our money was used to finance Boko Haram, a problem created by the Northerners in order to Use it as a conduit for siphon the resources of the Niger Delta.

"On October 1, 2017, we will declare our independence come in rain, come to shine, we will take our destiny into our hands and free ourselves from the slavery of the North because they are tired of a Nigeria," the statement said.
