BUHARI TO AGITATORS: FORGET ABOUT BIAFRA

President Buhari on his speech yesterday September 13th, when addressing over 100 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in Daura Local Government Area of the Katsina state and where he currently spent his  Eid-el-Kabir holiday, criticize the peaceful match of Biafra agitators in the South East and South South part of the country to remember the 17th anniversary of peaceful agitation actualisation of the state of Biafra

When addressing the corps members particularly South East, He said:

“As a military commander, I walked from Degem, a border town between the North and the East, to the border between Cameroon and Nigeria.

“Through the 30 months the Nigeria-Biafra civil war lasted I walked on my foot, which which resulted the death of at least 2 million Nigerians. We fight Biafrains not because of money or oil, even oil is not the critical factor as of the time, but because of one Nigeria which were made by our leaders to go and defend. So, if leadership at various levels failed, it was not the fault of the rest of Nigerians who have no quarrel with one another.

“So, please tell your colleagues that we must be together to build this country. It is big enough for us and potentially big enough in terms of resources.

“Those who work hard will earn a respectable living. I have seen this country, I fought for this country and I will continue to work for the unity of this country.”

“Tell your colleagues who want Biafra to forget about it,”
