SUSPECTED FULANI HERDSMEN ATTACK GOLKOFA COMMUNITY, KILL TWO

Suspected Fulani herdsmen have attacked and killed two people in Golkofa community, this came barely two weeks after the Community was attacked and six people killed in their farms land.

An eye witness, who confirmed the death to DAILY POST in a telephone, stated that two people were killed in their houses in the early hours of Thursday.

He explained that the community had earlier decried lacked of security personnel in the area, adding that they requested security personnel from the Police Area Command in Kafanchan for the past two weeks without any positive response.

He explained

“We are surviving by the grace of God in this Community. It has shown that the government cannot secure our properties and lives. The Security personnel know the hideout of these criminals, but they authoritatively told us they are not directed to go into the bush,” .
