5000 CULTISTS ACCEPTED CHRIST DURING KUMUYI CRUSADE IN OGONI RIVERS STATE

No fewer than Five thousand cultists in the land of Ogoni, Rivers State, on Friday evening, renounced membership in various cult groups and accepted Christ as Lord and Savior in a peace and war crusade organized by different denominations in conjunction with the Deeper Christian life ministry in Bori, Rivers State.
The cultists who gave their lives to Christ shortly after a sermon delivered by the Deep Life Superintendent General of the Bible Church, Pastor Williams Folorunso Kumuyi accused the politicians of using them for their selfish purposes, after which they were destroyed to suffer difficulties.

One of the church leaders who spoke to NAIJ after the crusade stated that Pastor Kumuyi had earlier met with religious leaders, traditional leaders, youth and community leaders, Put aside their differences and exploit their weaknesses and strengths to bring peace to attract development in the region.

During the meeting held at the arena of the convocation of the Ecole Polytechnique Ken Saro Wiwa, Bori, Pastor Kumuyi pointed out that peace and development could only flourish if Ogoni people learn to forgive themselves, forget their differences and decide to work together for a better and prosperous life for their people.

He said that animosity and hatred could only provoke communal clashes, violence and mistrust, even though he has pursued for peaceful coexistence among the different clans that make up the land of Ogoni.

Pastor Kumuyi assured them that with peace and unity in Ogoni's land, God will transform the hearts of the government at all levels towards the oil community that will lead to progress and prosperity.

He said that when God should have finished his miracles at Ogoni, people will look at their past as a child's room; Saying that the best of their past will be the least in all their efforts.
