OSINBAJO APPOINTS PATIENCE AS NEW DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF DMO

The acting president, Yemi Osinbajo, on Friday approved the appointment of Ms. Patience Oniha as the new Director General of the Debt Management Office, DMO.

This was confirmed by the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun.
Oniha, who comes from the state of Edo, takes over from Abraham Nwankwo, who retired after serving for two periods of five years each.

She retired as a director at the agency and also served in the Efficiency Unit of the Ministry of Finance, prior to her recent appointment as executive director of DMO.

Delivery formalities were held in a brief ceremony at the DMO office in Abuja.
