The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has thanked Northern youth for the quit notice given to Igbos in the region.

IPOB said the move would only help to hurry the actualization of Biafra.

The young brother of the head of the IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, told reporters that "the abandonment notice is one of the best things coming from the North since the fight for Biafra began and That our people would accept it with joy.

"This is what we were looking for, and we in IPOB are grateful to the young people of the North for the notice of abandonment given to Biafrans in the north to leave.

"This is Nigeria's best action since the beginning of the fight, and we thank them for giving our people a timetable to leave, and if they did, there would be no problem."

He urged the Biafrans to live in the north to return without hesitation to avoid being killed as was the case in 1967.

He also called on the governors of the Southeast to put enough vehicles at the disposal of Igbos in the north.

Speaking also about the investment of Igbos throughout the north, which was placed at over $ 44 billion, Prince Emmanuel said the investments were covered by the relevant sections of the United Nations Charter, UN.

According to him, "they should know that today's Biafra is not that of 1967, we are now more organized and united.

"Ndigbo's ownership period is gone and has gone for good, and it will not happen again because we are even more sophisticated."
