SUPER EAGLES STILL NEED NEW PLAYERS – ROHR

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr has accepted that he still needed new players on the team.

Rohr especially emphasized the starting point, despite the presence of Elderson Echiejile and the call of Maroof Youssef.
The German tactician said at his pre-game conference on Thursday, prior to the 2019 FIFA Africa Cup of Nations Uyo rally.

He explained that he wanted more than one option for each team place.

"We will continue to invite players who are good enough, it is interesting to have at least 2 or 3 players for each position, for example, we lack left rear position.

"We are looking for a new position, the position of the left behind for example. Not because Echiejile is old but we look ahead," Rohr said.
