WHY NIGERIANS CONSIDERED ME A POLITICAL LIAR

Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed has given details why most Nigerians considered him a political liar.

He said, that confronting the opposition for a long time before joining the government at the center gave the Nigerians wrong concepts on the subject.

The Nigerians accused him of lying because they had been associated with the opposition party for 10 years, the minister said during Osasu's program, which is based on Osasu himself, at the institute.

Lai Mohammed said he could not worry about one of the facts and figures he had given the Nigerians so far, stressing that he had since challenged the Nigerians to refer to a certain lie, but so far no Nigerian has responded.

"I think I was carrying two heavy campaigns. The first burden I faced was that I faced the opposition nearly a decade ago and I think many of them did not forgive me the Internet for the role I played in the emergence of this government.

"Many of them personally hold me responsible for defeating the DPP, and I am flattered by this, but the truth is that.

"The Nigerians wanted a new government and I was one of the tools.

"I always asked someone to say al-Haji Muhammad, that's what I said at the time, and we found it to be a lie and no one mentioned anything.

"You can defend your emotions, but you can not defend me from facts and figures."
