A 19-year-old man who turns into a prostitute and bears the name, Jennifer Kpaakpa, in Makurdi was arrested Thursday by police in Benue.

He has confessed to having slept with over 1000 men over the past five years.

The police discovered the real identity of Kpaakpa during a raid involving a case of N2,500 theft in a brothel along the railway to the high-level zone of the metropolis of Makurdi.

The native of the Kastina-Ala local government area told Daily Trust that her classmate in high school initiated her into the world of the mermaid five years ago.

The suspect said, "Over the past five years, I have operated as a woman. At night I stood on the road as a prostitute and the men picked me up at an agreed price.

"Usually the female organ manifests itself during my operations, but by day I will remain in my normal male condition. So far I have slept with more than 1000 men."

Police Commissioner Bashir Makama, who marched the imitator alongside other suspected criminals to the command headquarters in Makurdi, said the raid was carried out in confusion by police officers following a Flight report.
